Cameron Phillips, M.D
Originally from Western Montana, Dr. Phillips earned his medical degree from the University of Washington and went on to New York City to complete his Orthopedic Residency training. He then received advanced and highly specialized fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery under Dr. Larry Field and Dr. Felix Savoie, III, two prestigious pioneers of the shoulder world. During his fellowship, Dr. Phillips excelled in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques for such conditions as rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability. His emphasis on data-driven advanced techniques for shoulder replacement have continued to yield exemplary results for countless satisfied patients.
Dr. Phillips prides himself in a measured, multi-disciplinary approach to shoulder treatment. His treatment plans will often incorporate both non-surgical and surgical plans to optimize one’s shoulder function and full potential. Specialized regenerative medicine injections and highly tailored treatment protocols in physical therapy are often used to optimize his patients’ performance.
"My approach to shoulder and elbow conditions is comprehensive—listening carefully to my patients’ concerns and then using the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques to provide the best care Sports Medicine has to offer. Whether I am treating an elite professional athlete working to get back out on the field, or a retiree simply seeking to enjoy their daily routine without pain, I am dedicated to working closely with every patient through each step of improvement. It is a true privilege to care for the people of Southern Oregon and beyond, and I am extremely honored by the trust my patients put in me to help guide them on the path to feeling their best."
